Registration Questions
Q. I am a company but I am not a member of the National Association of College Stores (NACS). How do I register?
A. Campus Market Expo (CAMEX) is a closed show. Non-member companies have access to the trade show floor only during our CAMEX Trade Show Walk-Through. For more information contact Mary Adler-Kozak, NACS Director of Expositions, at (800) 622-7498, ext. 2265 or via e-mail at madler-kozak@nacs.org.
Q. This is my first time at CAMEX. What sessions should I attend?
A. In 2012 we will ONLY have the First Timers Program. Info will be online about that program when the program details go up on 10/10. The online portion of that program will be on Thursday, March 1, from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Q. My contact information is incorrect. How do I change it?
A. Send an e-mail to registration@nacs.org with the correct information and we will make the necessary changes.
Q. How do I print a registration receipt?
A. CAMEX registration receipts are automatically e-mailed to you as soon as you complete your registration online. If you do not receive your e-mail confirmation, contact registration@nacs.org and the receipt will be resent to the e-mail listed on the registration.
Q. How do I pre-register for CAMEX?
A. Click on the Registration & Housing link, select Registration, and follow the instructions.
Q. Do I need to be a member of NACS to attend CAMEX?
A. Licensed retail buyers do not need to be members to attend CAMEX. You will need to submit a copy of your retail sales license or retail tax certificate upon request.

Q. What are the fees for attending CAMEX?
A. To see the fee structure, click on the Registration & Housing link and select Registration.
Q. If I register for CAMEX and cannot attend, can I get a refund?
A. Refunds are issued if you cancel in writing, and return your badge and any tickets by Feb. 10, 2012.
Q. What are the dates of CAMEX?
A. Education will be held on March 2 and 3, and the trade show will be held March 4-6, 2012.
Q. Where will CAMEX 2012 be held?
A. CAMEX 2012 takes place at the Salt Palace, Salt Lake City, UT.
Q. How many people will attend CAMEX 2012?
A. CAMEX generally has between 6,000 and 7,000 attendees. There are generally about 2,000 to 2,200 buyers representing an average of 1,000 stores.
Q. How can I arrange for special assistance?
A. Please send a detailed e-mail on your special needs to registration@nacs.org and a staff member will be contact you.
Hotel and Travel Questions
Q. Which hotels are being used for CAMEX?
A. For a list of official CAMEX hotels, click on the Registration & Housing link and select Housing. Experient is the official CAMEX housing company. Do not be misled by e-mails from other sources claiming to represent CAMEX.
Q. Do you have special hotel and travel rates available for attendees?
A. For details on hotel reservations and travel, see the Registration & Housing link. Housing closes Feb. 4, 2012. All reservations made after this date must be made with the hotel directly and are subject to availability.
Q. Why did I receive an e-mail/phone call from a company representing CAMEX and offering lower rates than posted for the CAMEX hotels?
A. There is only one official CAMEX housing company – Experient. Do not be misled by “pirate” housing companies under any other name. They are often here today and gone tomorrow along with your money.
Q. How do I get to CAMEX?
A. For information, click on the Registration & Housing link and select Travel.
Q. Are there shuttles from the hotels to the convention center?
A. There are limited shuttles from most of the hotels; some are within walking distance. For the most up-to-date information, go to the Registration & Housing link and select Housing.
Q. Does NACS/CAMEX provide shuttles to and from the airport?
A. NACS/CAMEX does not provide shuttle service from the airport. For information on ground travel, go to the Registration & Housing link and select Travel.
