Wrapping Up CAMEX Learning

So you went to CAMEX and had a great learning experience. Or, better yet, you’re reading this BEFORE you go to CAMEX so you can prepare for after.

Here’s your list of To Do’s to wrap up your CAMEX learning experience and make the most of what you picked up during the educational conference.

1. Make a Record: Go to your My CAMEX Daily Planner after the conference, update your schedule with any onsite adjustments you made (to show the sessions you actually attended), and print the “Why I Should Attend CAMEX” report. This summary offers compelling facts about CAMEX education, lists the sessions you attended, and shows the total hours you were in educational sessions. Drop a copy in your performance review files!
2. Grab Additional Handouts: Go to Session Handouts and download handouts for sessions you missed, didn’t attend but created a buzz, or might be of interest to others on your staff.
3. New for 2012 - CAMEX Session Honor Roll: Be sure to check out these top ten sessions that achieved overall evaluation scores of 4.4 or higher, had 90% or higher agreement on "I will discuss this topic with colleagues," and included a session handout. Listed in alphabetical order:

4. Review and Share: Go over your notes, review your takeaways in your CAMEX Learning Journal, and set up time to share ideas and updates with others on your staff. Remember to share in SMALL bits so you don’t overwhelm your colleagues!
