Packing Tips

Business casual is recommended, but feel free to show off your school spirit! Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes.

Bag storage: Plan to store your bags at your hotel, as bag storage is not available at the convention center.

Weather check: Check the Fort Worth forecast before you pack—extreme cold is in the forecast.

Cashless payments: The Fort Worth Convention Center is a cashless facility—be prepared to use debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

Parking and Transportation 

Ride share services are available rates start at $50 and up.

Taxi service fares vary starting at $51 plus airport fees.

Visit Fort Worth

On Wednesday, February 19, a Visit Fort Worth representative will be available at the visitor information desk in the convention center from 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to stop by for local restaurant and shopping recommendations, as well as suggestions for things to do in downtown Fort Worth and nearby areas.

CAMEX Celebration 

Important Information:

• Must bring your personal ID and your event badge for scanning. Acceptable forms of identification include a state-issued driver's license or ID card, military ID, or international passport.
• This event is included in the Full Conference & Trade Show registration and also for those that purchased a ticket. The last day to buy a ticket is February 14, tickets will not be available on-site.
• Shuttles will run continuously from all three CAMEX hotels starting at 5:40 p.m. (approx. every 20 minutes). The last shuttles return to the hotels from Billy Bob's at 9:00 p.m.
• NOTE about age policy at Billy Bob's: Because they serve alcohol and must abide by all applicable state and local laws, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to enter the establishment at any time. Minors must remain within arms length of parent or legal guardian at all times while on the premises.

All attendees are required to wear a name badge to gain access to educational sessions, the trade show floor, and the CAMEX Celebration. Pick up your badge at the Registration desk.
